Promag was founded in Codogno (Lodi) in 2005 by Marco Cavalleri and Ilario Colombo, who are still at the helm of the company.

The founders have more than 10 years of experience in the production of permanent magnets, which has enabled Promag to be recognised as a leading partner in the definition and design of the products manufactured and marketed.

Its highly automated production processes allows the company to offer itself as a dynamic and reactive supplier, capable of manufacturing highly complex parts with attention to quality and price.

In 2007, its entry into the Argomm Group enhanced the product and market synergies, including its ability to supply parts to major automotive companies.
